This statement reflects my ongoing efforts to make Emily's Massage Room accessible to all individuals, regardless of their abilities. I am dedicated to ensuring that my website and massage services are as as easy to use, inclusive and accessible as reasonably possible within a home-based setting.

At Emily's Massage Room, everyone deserves the opportunity to enjoy my massage services. Therefore, I've taken steps to ensure that my website complies with web accessibility guidelines, making it easier for individuals with disabilities to navigate and access the information they need.

Accessibility arrangements
Emily's Massage Room is a private home-based massage therapy room with driveway parking for customers. From Wallingford Town Centre, it takes roughly 10 minutes to reach Emily's Massage Room on foot.
The treatment room is located upstairs so if you have difficulty using stairs or mobility concerns, please contact me before booking. Where reasonably possible, I will aim to make alternative arrangements, such as setting up the massage table in a downstairs space. Please note that space and setup limitations may apply.

If you are unable to lie on your back or prefer not to lie down, I can adapt my massage treatments to suit your needs, including seated or side-lying positions (as I currently offer for pregnancy massage clients). Please contact me before booking so we can discuss your requirements. Wherever reasonably possible, adjustments will be made to ensure your comfort and safety.

Women-Only Practice
This is a women-only massage practice operating from a private home. Treatments are provided exclusively to women. This policy is in place to maintain privacy, dignity, and personal safety within a home-based environment, in line with the Equality Act 2010.

Health and Medical Considerations
Massage therapy may not be suitable for everyone in all circumstances. Clients are required to complete a confidential health questionnaire prior to treatment so that suitability can be assessed.
Treatment may need to be modified, postponed, or declined for safety reasons.

If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, are undergoing medical treatment, or are unsure whether massage is appropriate, please consult your GP, midwife, or another healthcare professional before booking.

Pregnancy massage is offered from the second trimester onwards. High-risk pregnancies may require written approval from a healthcare professional.​​​​
